「小學堂文字學資料庫」（以下簡稱小學堂）是一個形音義綜合的資料庫，可提供使用者根據文字的形音等屬性先檢索出字頭，再透過字頭連接到個別的形音義資料庫或字書索引。小學堂收錄的字形涵蓋甲骨文、金文、戰國文字、小篆及楷書，總數超過22萬字；收錄的聲韻資料涵蓋上古、中古、近代及現代，總數超過134萬筆；收錄的字書索引資料則超過36萬筆；連結的線上字典有5個。本資料庫自2013年4月開放，至今已有7年，這四年來累積的網頁瀏覽量已超過八百萬，對推動文字學研究與教學均有顯著的成效。

As a comprehensive database of form, sound, and meaning of Chinese characters, the Xiaoxuetang Wenzixue Database ("Xiaoxuetang") enables users to search by shape or sound to retrieve characters, which are then linked to further linguistic databases and indexes. Xiaoxuetang collects over 220,000 character graphemes, comprising Oracle Bone Script, Bronze Script, The Warring States Scripts, Small Seal Script, and Regular Script; over 1.34 million phonetic items, comprising Old, Middle, Early Modern, and Modern Chinese; and is linked to 5 online dictionaries. Since its launch in April 2013, it has received over 8 million online views, and served as an outstanding aid for philological research and education.
